Inspections on your iPhone
This App is intended to provide an organized, room-by-room and step-by-step visual inspection of single family homes for purposes of identifying visible flaws or defects prior to the real estate settlement/closing. The inspection form is not all inclusive; there are far too many components to list in single format. It is most useful when used for the purchase of new homes or homes in foreclosure but can also be used by builders and real estate agents representing their buyers or prospects.
NOTE: The process is NOT a substitute for a comprehensive inspection by a professional, licensed home inspector and CANNOT be used to determine if building codes have been met.
This is a partial beta test. Your feedback would be very valuable and greatly appreciated in helping us fix bugs and adding features that would be helpful to enhance the program.

Great Improvement in Update
Toay Girl write:
When I first bought the app for the Quality Home Inspections I was disappointed as it seemed to have a lot of bugs in it - the biggest one being that things did not line up well. However, now that the update has come through, it has improved drastically. I really like it and feel it is a great bargain for the price - especially when one considers it is an app that can be used over and over.
It is apparent that the last review was written prior to the reviewer seeing the update or using it properly. Everything now seems well lined up so when you hit the title of a feature in a room, a description box comes up - in cases where one needs an explanation it is there and well phrased. Then one can check off whether something passes or fails the test - so to speak - by hitting the x or the check box and last but not least, there is a box at the end of the row for people to write a description of what they found.
This is an app that helps people do their own inspections and gives them an explanation of what they should be looking for when reviewing the different areas of a home. Homebuyers can now keep track of the different homes they are looking at as this app gives the ability to email reports. It also gives buyers of new properties a way to check against the punchlist thus finding potential problems prior to closing. Real estate agents checking out a potential listing can now have an idea of what they should be looking at. So I can well see that this will be a great help to those of us in the real estate industry - it is obvious that the person behind the writing of the things to look for really knows his job.
The only reason I am not giving this app a 5* rating is because I feel a camera would make this an even better app.
Needs improvement to be worth 4.99
Mark Teicher write:
I agree this app should set .99 until there is enough feedback to justify the highet price. The icons are nice but wished the developer would have adhered to Apple User Interface Guidelines, that way the email function would link to the Contacts ,
The email to pdf would be nice
The non ability to modify the logo on the report (i.e. For Real Estate, etc)
The inability to save or have multiple inspections
The non integration of photos is bad
No Mapkit funtionality or Location
It would be nice when starting the application, it would prompt the user for Location settings, if not correct the user can modify, plus the ability to prompt the user during various sections, if not Pass, import picture
Needs drastic improvement!
This app needs a lot more work to be useful. Not worth $4.99. This app should be free until further developed.
